There is serious art and then there is whimsical art. This is the whimsical kind. It is refreshing to do something cheerful and fast in between wrestling with more serious and time consuming things.

I don't actually recommend camping for or with cats. My parents did that once and their cat, Marshall McLuhan, who was for some reason nicknamed Musha, disappeared. Fortunately he, who was for some reason always referred to as she, appeared in the bottom of a sleeping bag. 2 glowing eyes, probably longing for home.*

This is so cute, both the picture and the story! I got there early and bought the picture. I wouldn't take a cat camping either, but I remember seeing someone camping with their cat on a long lead.
Have you thought of making your art into cards or postcards? I think this one in particular would be fun.
